The new Ireland Wood Medical Centre in north Leeds provides expanded facilities for Dr Islip & Partners to replace their existing building at Tinshill Lane. The new surgery, which is bright, light and modern, is a spacious building from which to deliver an enhanced range of services for patients.
The new building provides just over 1,650 square metres of floor space and includes expansion space of around 300 square metres to ensure that the building is future-proofed. This expansion space can be fitted out for a variety of uses, for either the practice or other medical providers. A pharmacy and optician completes the development to ensure patients obtain the best advice directly on site. There are also 58 parking spaces for patients and staff.
This £5m scheme was developed by Abstract for their investor partners, Assura, on the site of a former public house and opened in Spring 2011.
